though the list made some work-arrounds, I want to come back to another point. Its more about philosophy of unix in general but I'd like to see NetBSD as a part of it - "Make everything configure-able". I mean that its nice to have standarts ( secure defaults ), and that NetBSD likes standarts, too. But there is no need to force a M$-Unix :) ... . We should implement some functions to passwd-/login-programms so that /etc/login.conf ( or sth. simular ) let administrators configure such things more "regulary". The possibility to configure much more then Wintendo even forced me to switch over to unix systems.
