I got exactly the same thing, but since I was using a freshly
installed NetBSD-1.6.1/sparc64 (the release from April last
year) together with a newly checked out pkgsrc I thought I had
to rebuild the system (kernel, gcc etc.) to get everything in
sync before I could expect things to work properly.
