Hi to all,
I am new to NetBSD, having decided to try it on a laptop Dell Latitude C640.
I managed to install everything fine, enjoying in the process the package/port
system which seems to me the most intelligent way to deal with OpenSource
software install in a consistent way.
I am quite happy with my NetBSD box but I still have some problems
with the power management system. I have tried
APM but I get garbled screen under X when I reopen the lid. With Linux,
It seems that you could use ACPI to better effects with customized scripts
managing events but I could not find documentation on ACPI.
I would appreciate some help or pointers on this issue.
Arnaud
