Hello list,

II fixed my problem with a quick&dirty workaround. The problem was that my 
pkg_* utilities were incompatible with the newest pkgsrc tree. So, I copied 
all the pkgtools (at first I only copied pkg_info, that didn't work) from 
another NetBSD machine to the new machine, and it worked! After that I 
installed the newest pkgtools from the pkgsrc tree, and all was good.
