  | I know CVS beats on the server a bit. Is rsync better? cvsup?

anoncvs.NetBSD.org is a separate machine to cvs.NetBSD.org.

As an end-user, using anonymous cvs to anoncvs.NetBSD.org
is a fine solution. rsync often causes _more_ server load
due to its directory access pattern.

Cheers,
Luke.
