Yes, but I've posted them to 2 lists already + developers of the utils 
and no fixes yet (although some ideas were offered and tried).

What I'm really looking here for confirmation, yes or no from BSD 
people here, on getting ices 0.3 working successfully on their own 
systems.   I think at this time it's a "no", although there's 0.2.3 
working under NetBSD from one reply, and ices2 (using ices2 would mean 
I need to rip all my CDs again into ogg format, which is not 
desireable) can run under other BSDs with patches, I've not heard yet 
from anyone using it on NetBSD.   I just received the patches from the 
FreeBSD tree, so will give them a try.

I don't mind fiddling and if I get stuck I will post certainly details, 
but initial attempts plus replies made me wonder if what I was trying 
was working *anywhere*.  I've not programmed for years, my diddling 
around is certainly not going to create a working port where none 
exists yet (IMO), I'm lucky enough if I can tweek something that is 
99.9% working to make it 100%.
