Hi,

1.5 seemed to drastic to mee, too.

So I now use 1.6 as the system itself but with the X-sets from 1.5 (X 3.3.6).

This configuration works find.

By the way:
X performance is _REALLY_ impressive!
I run only the bare X-server on the 80386. The WM (icewm) runs on a remote box, the applications too, of course. (So the 386 is a "VGA" for the NetBSD/sgimips that does
the real work).

Graphics output is very very fast. I could hardly believe that the performance of
the server itself was so good.

If anyone hasn't seen this before, I recommend testing this configuration. Very cool!

Florian
