The CDB is: SPACE, SP_FILEMARKS, count=3D1 - the mt -f /dev/nrst0 fsf 1 you
mentioned above (see sys/dev/scsipi/scsi_tape.h).
Are you sure the tape has any filemarks on it? Or is it completely blank?
