If you use postgresql as provided by pkgsrc, all you need to do is to=20
copy /usr/pkg/etc/rc.d/pgsql to /etc/rc.d/pgsql and add=20
pgsql=3DYES
(and maybe an appropriate pgsql_flags line; see the header of the rc.d/pgsql
file) to /etc/rc.conf.
The user will be set - read that script for details.
