I am not sure if this is caused by bios my powers supply or netbsd.
It seems when i have apm enabled in kernel when apmd starts up it puts
the system to battery mode while the power supply is pluged in.
I have Dell Inspiron 8000 laptop. In the bios i tried changing things
and same thing happens. I disabled power management for battery but
enabled it for AC in the bios. I tried enablish both and disabling both
same thing. It appears the system just does not know the AC is pluged
in and things its using battery.
I think this may be caused by netbsd here is the reason why.
I take the battery completely out of the system and run on just AC. The
system boots but when apmd starts it powers off abruptly. Seems like
apmd telling bios to go to battery when battery is not even inserted.
Also apm satus is displayed wrong it says i am not connected when i am
to AC, Also the number of batteries is always displayed as 2 when in
fact I only have 1 and its even wrong when i take the battery out.
