Cleaned often, but in hindsight I should've used something else for cleaning,
maybe sulphuric acid coupled with molten steel ? Well, I've had DDS-tapes
go bad on me (unreadable backups) with different hardware, different operating
systems on two occasions. I'll never trust a DDS-drive again.
I have had very good experiences with DLT-drives (and 1600bpi 9-tracks :-)
