Well, I wish that was reassuring. Unfortunately, I just want to get this

I have suspicions here...

I thought so. I know someone else running NetBSD (1.6.1 or current) on
a DL 360, which of course runs that Compaq Integrated Array which is
different than the ones we are having problems with.

Oh, no, it is not the RAID 1 vs. RAID 5, I have tried everything except RAID
4, and I still get the same errors.

Well, that was a nice thought, but when I gave it a go, the box running the
2 SL card still choked on me.
Oh well, looks like I will have to go with FreeBSD for now at least.
