I put the line

	/sbin/pppoectl pppoe0 query-dns=3

in my /etc/ifconfig.pppoe0 file. I have this line before the
connection is established. I then call

	/sbin/pppoectl -n 1 -n 2 pppoe0 >> /etc/resolv.conf

in /etc/ppp/ip-up. It retrieves 0.0.0.0 for both nameserver IP's.
This might be a problem specific to Verizon DSL. I'll do some
debugging and try and find out where the problem lies. This isn't
really a show stopper, just a minor annoyance.
