Actually, what I was hoping to accomplish was lock the 
keyboard, run backup and verify script, sleep 5sec, unlock
keyboard. While the backup and verify procedure is running,
 it would be nice to view the results/progress as they are
output to the screen. Xlockmore and Xscreensaver block all
of this and would be defeating my purpose...
