Install both hard disks in one machine, create disklabel and eventually
partition table on the new hard disk, install boot loader, and copy all file
systems with cpio -p to the new filesystems.

Preferably do this with all source filesystems in read-only mode and the system
in singleuser.

I did this several times now, works fine.
