Hi All,

I have just got a new motherboard (DFI NB76-TL) which has an onboard =
RealTek RTL8100=20
fast ethernet controller. I am having trouble getting the the controller =
working.
My problem is that I cannot ping any IP on my network. I am certain that =
the cables
are correct and that the problem exists with the ethernet controller. =
Furthermore=20
I cannot get another system to ping my new PC. Thus for all intensive =
purposes=20
the PC does not appear to exist on the network. I had a look at the dmeg =
output
and noticed this suspicious message:
    OUI 0x000000 model 0x0000 rev 0 at rtk0 phy 7 not configured

What does this message mean and what could I do to try and fix my =
problem?

Thanks
Ian
