...every once in a while my box refuses to recognize the camera w/o a reboot.
it will see umass0 but will not attach scsibus1.  i just sort of assume it's
the extremely low-quality hardware i'm forced to work with, or the generally
overall poor implemenation of USB.

v2.0 isnt much of an improvement =/

hopefully firewire won't be so bad, since microsoft didn't have it's hands on
it.
