Dear list members
I recently got a wacom intuos tablet and so far, it works well.
That means, it performs its functions like it should.
But since having it connected to my serial port, weird things
happen to my keyboard:
- it reshuffles the characters when typing fast
- sometimes shift or ctrl seems locked
- sometimes no keyboard input is accepted, it's just dead
The latter two problems seem to be recovering after about 30 seconds
but return some amount of time later.
The problems also persist, if no wacom driver is loaded (in /etc/XF86Config)
I tried both serial ports tty00 and tty01: same problems.
Does anybody have an idea, what the reason for this could be?
/etc/ttys looks like this:
-------------------------------------- 8< --------------------------------------
console "/usr/libexec/getty Pc" vt100 off secure
ttyE0 "/usr/libexec/getty Pc" vt220 on secure
ttyE1 "/usr/libexec/getty Pc" vt220 on secure
ttyE2 "/usr/libexec/getty Pc" vt220 on secure
ttyE3 "/usr/libexec/getty Pc" vt220 on secure
tty00 "/usr/libexec/getty std.9600" unknown off secure
tty01 "/usr/libexec/getty std.9600" unknown off secure
tty02 "/usr/libexec/getty std.9600" unknown off secure
[...]
-------------------------------------- 8< --------------------------------------
The system is NetBSD 1.6 with XFree 4.2.0
Thanks
Chris
