Hello,

I am running a stock NetBSD 1.6 installation on an i386. I have
configured XFree86, and it works quite nicely. However, I have noticed
that X complains about missing fonts when it starts:

  Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/,
  removing from list!

So far this hasn't been a problem for me, but as it looks like
something is wrong, I'd like to fix it. I do notice that I can't
display all the fonts mentioned in the Speedo fonts.dir file with
xfd(1). Is there anything I can do to further track down the problem?
