I have XP and NetBSD (1.6I nowadays) happily coexisting on a Sony
Vaio. I wiped the disk, and re-installed XP from the CDs provided,
this time in the first 7GB on the disk, leaving the other 23(ish) GB
for NetBSD, which I installed either from CD, or via the network (I
can't remember, and I didn't write it down in my notes). The NetBSD
boot blocks are installed, and I can boot either XP or NetBSD quite
happily.
