Did you ever find a solution for this problem?
I saw suggested ideas of using /dev/lpa0 or manually entering
parallel:/dev/lpt0, but that doesn't work for me:
lpadmin: add-printer failed: client-error-not-possible
(because parallel is not even in allowed devices).
I also read suggestion to look in docs, but never found it.
