netbsd-users: No buffer space available

NetBSD 1.5.3, ENOUGH NMBCLUSTERS (=8192, about 1000 are used), ex at pci
network card, PIII/733, 256MB, PCI multiserial cards

i'm regularly getting this:

Sep  8 15:22:02 serwer named[210]: ns_req: sendto([217.96.12.9].1033): No
buffer space available

while everything else works fine including any communication with
217.96.12.9 (which is machine connected with pppd)

what's going on?
