We bought a Lexmark Optra E312, it's postscript level 2, we're quite
happy with it, had it for a year, I think.  It's around $360 online.
It is parallel and USB.

The E312L is not necessarily postscript and the toner cartridge is
50% full (compared to the E312).  Some of the E312L are the E312
with tags changed, but there's no way to tell without printing the
test page.
