Try 1.5.3 or -current.

Subject: ibm laptop network card not detected

Hi all,

I just installed 1.5.2 on my laptop (an IBM T30) from the CD-ROM, but
neither GENERIC nor GENERIC_LAPTOP detect my network card.

In the dmesg, it shows:

'Intel product 0x1031 (ethernet network, revision 0x42) at pci2 dev8
function 0 not configured'

So, how do I get it to detect the card?

TIA,
-Jan

Except most of the good bits were about frogs, I remember that.
You would not believe some of the things about frogs.
