Hmmm. This looks like the FreeBSD binary of mldonkey, isn't it?
Whenn I start mldonkey on 1.5ZC i get:

Your system supports 64 file descriptors
zsh: invalid system call (core dumped)  ./mldonkey

The first line is just an info. I even get it when I start it on
FreeBSD 4.6.

Wich NetBSD version do you use? Try NetBSD 1.6_RC1.
