I am trying, without much success, to get Xvfb working on my
machine. I call the command like this

Xvfb :0 screen 0 1024x768x16 &

If I try startx, it tells me a server is already running. This is
true, but I want to use the server that is running. If I do a Ctrl-C to
exit Xvfb, I get a core dump. I don't know of another way to stop the
server. I've used this on Slackware 8.0, but I can't seem to get it to
work on NetBSD. It is XFree86 3.3.6 on both. Any suggestions are
appreciated.
