I was using 192.168.5.2/24 and 192.168.5.1/24. So most likely they will
conflicts. But again if I assgin a small subnet mask to the 2 nic.
Say
192.168.5.1/29 for the Samba file server
192.168.5.8/29 for wireless network
SMB broadcast would probably not able to traverse 2 subnet unless there is a
relay at the router/firewall boundary and in which case it will be the same
as setting it up with 192.168.5.0/24 and 192.168.6.0/24. As a result it
would still defeat my original purpose of not setting up any extra services
on the firewall routeer machine.
Any pointer would be appreciated.
