Well, I've just tried it and I don't think it works as I expected...

$ ssh anoncvs@sun

Welcome to NetBSD!
Could not chdir to home directory /home/cvsroot: Permission denied
Usage: -cvs [cvs-options] command [command-options-and-arguments]
[...]
--------
Instead, NetBSD's anoncvs does this:
--------
$ ssh anoncvs@anoncvs.netbsd.org
Connection to anoncvs.netbsd.org closed by remote host.
Connection to anoncvs.netbsd.org closed.
--------
It seems to deny access very soon...
Thanks though.
