Hi all
Continuing my "thread" about how to treat source file permissions, I'm
wondering what do you do with object files.
They are placed by default under /usr, though as this directory is meant
to be mounted read-only (sometimes), object files shouldn't go there...
I know it can be changed, and I'm using the /home partition to hold
them now (sys objects, pkgsrc objects)...
Do you feel that /var would be a good place for them (following the
mean of var)? How do you manage this?
Thanks ;-)
