Try changing your mouse protocol to:
Option "Protocol"	"wsmouse"

and just to eliminate the keyboard problem, comment (#) the=20
Option "XkbRules" "xfree86"
Option "XkbModel" "pc101"
Option "XkbLayout" "us"

lines.

You might also want to remove the Speedo font list from those that =
load.
