Aloha,

I am having problems starting chroot'ed apache through /etc/rc.conf

==  From /etc/rc.conf ==
named=no
named9=YES
named_chroot=/u0/named
apache=YES
apache_chroot=/u0/web0
silcd=YES
silcd_chroot=/u0/silcd
====

Note: I am using the 'stock' rc.d/apache script from the apache13 pkgsrc package.

silcd and named9 both chroot nicely through the rc system. Apache does not. -- Though Apache jails fine manually.

I have already looked through rc.subr to see if there is some mechanism which prevents apache from starting chroot. But I could not find a smoking gun.

Has anyone run into problems jailing apache through the rc system? - I apologize in advance if this topic has already been tackled on netbsd-users.

Mahalo,
Charles Paul
