I am attempting to install NetBSD (1.5.2) onto a laptop with WindowsXP. I
shuffled the partitions so that it looks like this...
Start(sec) Size(sec) End(sec) Kind
---------- ---------- --------- ----
0: 63 12289662 12289725 Windows FAT32
1: 67906755 10233405 78140160 Extended Partition, LBA
2: unused
3: unused
I would like to install NetBSD in the space between sectors 12289725 and
67906755. I add a NetBSD partition to partition 2 and when I go to put in
the size (55617030), the installer changes the size to 4224339, which is
about 2GB.
Start(sec) Size(sec) End(sec) Kind
---------- ---------- --------- ----
0: 63 12289662 12289725 Windows FAT32
1: 67906755 10233405 78140160 Extended Partition, LBA
2: 12289725 4224339 16514064 unused
3: unused
Is this a limit for this file system? All the examples I have found on the
web use smaller size partitions. Is there a way around this?
Thanks in advance.
