Hiya,
I'm trying to install windows 2000 into VMware 2.0.4 with NetBSD-1.5.2 with
vmware and vmware-module installed from pkgsrc.
I can't seem to make vmware talk to either of my two IDE CD-ROM drives (one
CD-RW and one DVD-ROM). I've got:
Device Type CD-ROM
Mode Persistent
Name /dev/cd0a
is this correct? vmware doesn't boot from CD at all, it skips ATAPI CD-ROM
in the boot list and goes straight to floppy. If I try booting windows 2000
from the four floppies it'll not recognise the CD drive at the right time
when the install process need it either.
Any ideas?
- Chris
