Hello,

I am using a Yamaha CRW2100S internal SCSI CD-RW drive in a DEC Alpha
running 1.5.3_ALPHA, and I'm very satisfied with it. This drive has an 8MB
buffer and supports 16x write (CDR), 10x re-write (CDRW) speed, and 40x
read/audio-ripping. I bought it new/unused on Ebay for what I think was a
pretty fair price. I use cdparanoia, cdrecord and bladeenc from pkgsrc. I
got started with the excellent documentation on http://www.netbsd.org.
