hi,
just installed apache using pkg_add....the httpd.conf file was installed in /usr/pkg/etc/httpd and the daemons into /usr/pkg/bin and /usr/pkg/sbin
when i ran ./apachectl configtest it said
"Syntax OK"
but when i run ./apachectl start it simply says "cannot start httpd" that's all!!!
i tried to uncomment the apache daemon in /usr/etc/rc.d/rc.local file....during startup it said "cannot start apache"..
what is the standard way to get httpd up and running???same problem with the postgres daemon...pls help
thanx in advance
