A quick update on problems with KDE 2.2.2 under NetBSD 1.5.2:

- https URLs in Konqueror: bogus "failed the authenticity test"
  for known valid certificate

Nick Hudson> I've commited the fix to pkgsrc.

I am currently rebuilding with that fix.

- Cannot print, "kdeprintd cannot be contacted".

Nick Hudson> could test a few things for me?

Replacing /usr/libexec/ld.elf_so with a copy from NetBSD 1.5.3_ALPHA
does the trick; now I can print just fine.

- Cannot hear output of CD player

Brian de Alwis> Try
                     mixerctl -w outputs.master.mute=off
                     mixerctl -w inputs.cd.mute=off

Not yet tried; will do when KDE finishes rebuilding from the ssl
patch. :-)

Thanks all, I'll keep you posted!
