Oh, sh..!   I had even noticed the references before I upgraded from
1.3.? to 1.5.2, but this old dinosaur just did as he did way back in
the Cretaceous (or was it Jurassic) Period and applied his dirty patch
from NetBSD 1.1. in stead of thinking.
