I also had xmms crash X alot when I was using it with Windowmaker
on a Debian system. It worked fine on NetBSD when I was running
Blackbox. I never did install Windowmaker on NetBSD though, so I can't
say if it is a generic Windowmaker issue. I do remember I that it
crashed everytime when I changed to certain skins. I think my issue was
more an on-board graphic chip issue, but I didn't do much testing to
find out for sure.
