It should be easy to add an option to /etc/rc.conf (say
"rc_files=/some/path").  If this was set as "rc_files=/etc/" in
/etc/defaults/rc.conf, /etc/rc could use use this variable to rcorder
the startup scripts before executing them.

I think it would be a nice idea.
