Oh, sorry, forgot to mention that. Yes, it is only available for -current.

I have been asked to create pullup-requests to get this stuff into the 1.5
release branch, and I will do so. If I don't miss the release due to time
constraints (or release engineering does not like it), it should be in 1.5.3.
