If anyone happens to have an ASUS A7M266 Motherboard and considers upgrading
to the newest BIOS:
Don't do it.
My Kernel didn't compile anymore. It failed on very different spots on
repeated 'make' calls.
Reloading the 1004A Bios made it compile without problems again.

I always thought, ASUS were the best motherboards. But
after I had *lots* of problems with the A7V, now I seem also
to have a though time with this one. Sigh...
