You need to do mkdir /usr/sup
 cat /etc/supfiles/coll.list
# $NetBSD: sup.netbsd.org,v 1.4 1999/02/16 08:22:19 abs Exp $
#
# Example supfile for sup.netbsd.org.
#
release-1-5 release=allsrc host=sup.netbsd.org hostbase=/ftp/pub \
base=/usr prefix=/usr backup use-rel-suffix  delete
#
#current release=doc host=sup.netbsd.org hostbase=/ftp/pub \
#base=/usr prefix=/usr backup use-rel-suffix delete
#
#
#current release=pkgsrc host=sup.netbsd.org hostbase=/ftp/pub \
#base=/usr prefix=/usr backup use-rel-suffix delete
#
#current release=xsrc host=sup.netbsd.org hostbase=/ftp/pub \
#base=/usr prefix=/usr backup use-rel-suffix delete
##EOF

sup -sz
or
sup -szv

It can take a long time.
If a sup gets goofed up add "old" to your next run.

sup -soz
