No, I don't think that's possible. With a lot of hacking you might be able
to create a named pipe using Samba - then you could have a daemon on your
Unix box that would push-n-pull data around between the named pipe and
devices.

That said, you could do it arse-about-face by sharing out what you want to
back up on the Windows machine, and using smbtar (or whatever the hell it's
called).
