The problem also appears under FreeBSD, so it's not a NetBSD specific thing.

kde2 has a FAX viewer, but it doesn't seem to work (neither on NetBSD, nor
on FreeBSD).

Has the new fvwm been ported to NetBSD?  I think I'll get rid of kde2.. too
bloated, too many bugs, too many missing features.
