netbsd-users: gPhoto2 stuck at 9600 bps?

I've found gPhoto2 (CVS 20010723) failing to successfully communicate
with my Kodak DC3200 camera at any speed over 9600 bps. However the
same source, on the same hardware, under GNU/Linux, works flawessly up
to (at least) 57600 bps.

Before I hassle gphoto-devel, has anyone here discovered the cause
of the [NetBSD-specific?] problem?
