I see this on a VAIO 550VE.  After a boot, the first suspend/wakup
works.  The second one hangs.  

On an older VAIO 505TX any number of suspends/wakeup's work as long as
I do a bunch of sync's before the "ifconfig down".  Not doing the
syncs doesn't hang the machine, it simply postpones the suspend until
I manually ifconfig up.  Then the machine immediately goes down with
the card still powered up.
