I'm having a bit of trouble getting SASL working with Postfix.  Postfix
calls into the SASL library with "sasl_listmech()", which returns a
sasl_mechanism_count of zero.

I have /usr/local/lib/sasl symlinked to /usr/lib/sasl, and inside it,
a file called "smtpd.conf":

# cat /usr/lib/sasl/smtpd.conf 
pwcheck_method: shadow
# ls -l /etc/spwd.db 
-rw-r-----  1 root  maildrop  40960 Mar  6 15:41 /etc/spwd.db

The same configuration works fine on FreeBSD and on Linux, so I am
suspecting that this is a NetBSD-specific issue.  Can anyone suggest
how to pursue this further?
