Ok. This is a "bad" kernel. You might want to upgrade that to at
least 2.2.18 to get a better NFS system on that client (probably you
want 2.2.19). You may need to upgrade mount as well.

1.5.1 is in BETA now and it is possible that these problems have been
fixed. Are you able to upgrade easily? If so, could you and see if the
problem persists with the 2.2.13 kernel as client? Either way, could you
send a full list of commands that will hand the NetBSD server?
