Being imported into the base sources is orthogonal to continued outside
development.  Lots of programs are in the base sources but maintained
elsewhere (gcc, awk, etc.)

That said, I'm not sure what the development status of pdksh is.  It appears
the last real development was some time around 1999.  We have the
latest version and have provided several bug fixes.

Perhaps someone else reading this list knows.
