There is a linux doc under "http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/DNS-
HOWTO.html". Beside installation and Linux specific stuff the bind 
configuration is pretty well written (IMHO). If you do not have to do 
with bind a lot, I would recommend to have a copy of the sample 
files handy when doing changes.
